What can I even say about a wedding as beautiful as Courtney & Tim's? If I tell you that I never cry at weddings, but I absolutely cried at theirs, maybe you will get an idea of just how amazing their wedding day was.

Courtney & Tim's story is a unique one! They are both active-duty military, so their schedules can get a little bit crazy, to say the least. In 2018, they were married in a small ceremony that fit in with their busy lives, but they weren't able to have the big, beautiful wedding celebration they always wanted. Fast-forward to May of 2019, and they finally got their wish!

The Paiute Resort in Las Vegas was a new location for me, and it absolutely did not disappoint. From its sprawling desert golf course to its outdoor wedding space with dazzling mountain views, it was a perfect place for Courtney & Tim to celebrate together!

Throughout the day I was able to spend time with so many wonderful, kind, important people in Courtney & Tim's life. We started with photos of the bride, her mom, and her bridesmaids getting ready: applying makeup, curling hair, joking around, and jamming to "Old Town Road" in the bride's suite. I love these moments that I get to spend in such an intimate setting with groups of best friends. Not long after, the groom requested I take detail photos of his groomsmen gifts, which he had put together and arranged himself. I'm completely obsessed with all the amazing details from this day - you'll see many of them below!

The ceremony itself was absolutely gorgeous. Courtney & Tim couldn't have chosen a better day or location for their wedding. Between the love letters they wrote to each other, the beautiful scenery, and Courtney pausing during her vows to cry, exclaiming, "I'm just so happy!", I was definitely crying happy tears by the end. Let's be honest, I don't think there was a dry eye in the house!

With the reception came the party: delicious food, dancing, drinks, and an unfortunate incident with a wooden bouquet and a lit candle. By the end of the evening, it felt like Courtney, Tim, & I were the very best of friends. I am so lucky they chose me to be their Las Vegas Wedding Photographer, and I know they will have an incredible life together!
